​​Are you interested in public transportation and transit justice? Join the PJE class, Claremont Urbanists, Pomona Student Union, and Scripps CEC for a teach-in with ACT-LA! They are a coalition advancing equitable housing and transit justice in LA. Members of ACT-LA will present their work, teach us how to effectively do public comment, and invite students to get involved. Two days after the event, we ask students to join PJE students in taking Metrolink to attend the LA Metro Board meeting, where we will be able to put what we learned into action by making public comment to advocate for better transit in LA.
